RME: NetConfig, device failed during update, Sync archive failed

In using NetConfig i am copying running-config to flash:, removing boot statement and adding in new boot statement, writing to memory, reloading device.

all is successful, but status comes back as failed, "Device failed during update, Sync archive failed."

any reasons why?

Since you are reloading the device, RME is probably trying to capture the config while the device is down. Of course, this will not succeed.
