Router as NTP Server

Has anybody experience running a Cisco Router as a NTP Server? I want to use it for network devices, server and clients.

E.g. Setup:

Public NTP -> Router (ASxxxxx) (NTP Server #1) -> DMZ Router (NTP Server #2) -> Internal Router (NTP Server #3) -> Server, Client, Network devices, etc-

That's possible.

THe Internal Router points to the DMZ router as an NTP source.

The DMZ router points to the BGP Router as an NTP source.

The BGP Router synchronizes to either a dedicated GPS-based NTP appliance or a public-facing NTP source.

NOTE:  Try to avoid the temptation of using the command "NTP master".

I second Leo's reply that it's possible.

However I'd just point them all to a public NTP server or, at most, to your BGP router which in turn syncs to a public Stratum 1 server. No need to add tiers unnecessarily.
