I retrieved routers and switches running-configuration to a Windows NT workstation by using WrNet utility. Is there a similar tool for Windows XP?

WrNet is not a Microsoft product. You can download it and try installing to Windows XP

I did try, but it does not work.

I haven't tried this utility, but check the following;
- Make sure the new server and the network devices can reach each other
- Make sure that there is no ACL or Firewall blocking whatever port is used by this utility including the new server firewall
- Compare configuration between the old and the new
- Account and password

I checked what you mentioned before I ran the utility. It seemed that it was working but stopped shortly after the application was started.

I found a tool called "Cisco SNMP Tool", which runs on XP. I installed and tested on XP machine. It works fine; however, it can retrieve running-configuration one device at a time where you can set up a batch file in WrNet and retrieve running-configuration from devices listed in the batch file at one time. Any thoughts?
