Show log on Cisco2611XM

We know that we lost connectivity to a router and after connectivity was restored, we did a show log and did not get any entry for today. The dates are correct.

What could be happening as we know that the serial interface went down? But nothing shows in the logs.

make sure you have configured:

router(config)#logging buffered debugging

You can check by looking at "show log" and at the top will be...

Buffer logging: level debugging, 532 messages logged, xml disabled,

filtering disabled

something like that.
