Does anyone know of a way to shut DFM down and keep it from starting again when the server is reset? We don't use it and it currently and it is putting extra load on the server. Just wondering if there is a clean way to shut it off.

You would have to un-register it from the daemon manager
It might be simpler to un-install it if you are not using it

What would the process be for unregistering it or for uninstalling it? I would just use add/remove programs, but I don't want it to start an automated complete uninstall.

Start -> Programs -> CiscoWorks -> Un-install
It will list all the packages
Select DFM
