I'm wondering is there a way to demand poll a device from PI2.2.
If I have an alarm telling me the device is down, is there a way I can get PI to poll the device on demand to see if the device is there.
I see in the device 360 view that there is ping and traceroute, both of which we do not generally allow through our network. SNMP on the other hand is and would be a great help if I could initiate an SNMP poll on demand.
cheers

Richard,
Unfortunately, there is no direct option in GUI to do a snmpwalk.
But, you can use the following URL with IP Address of your PI server to do a snmpwalk on devices managed/unmanaged by Prime Infrastructure :
https://<PI-Server-IP>/webacs/SnmpQueryAction.do

That is very nice, thank you.
Any other little tools like that hidden away ?

Richard,
Glad to know it helped.
Not many other tools outside GUI, but some of the additional t/s or managing tools can be accessed from :
https://<PI-Server-IP>/webacs/ncsDiag.do
-Thanks
