Hello!
Your configuration will be as follows:
snmp-server group groupSNMP v3 auth
snmp-server group groupSNMP v3 priv
snmp-server user snmpv3USER groupSNMP v3 auth sha 256 PASSWORD-AUTH priv aes 128 PASSWORD-PRIV
Please change the user and password with your credentials. You can also add a access-list to the user or to the groups.

Also note, the user/pass configuration for snmpv3 will not show up in the running/startup configuration. You can check it with show snmp user.

do i need to add in the snmp server host ip address ?
is the group name/profile name case sensitive ?

Hello!
It is case sensitive, you do not need to add the host IP address. You can limit it better with ACL-s. Like this per user:
snmp-server user snmpv3USER groupSNMP v3 auth sha 256 PASSWORD-AUTH priv aes 128 PASSWORD-PRIV access ACCESS-LIST
Or per group:
snmp-server group groupSNMP v3 auth access ACCESS-LIST
snmp-server group groupSNMP v3 priv access ACCESS-LIST
