Hey everyone!
Hope you're doing well! I need your help!
could someone tell me which type of Cisco switches supports the StackWise?

Hi there,
Are you thinking about stackwise physical or virtual.
If the later, that technology is a feature of Catalyst 9500 series switches.
Stackwise physical is used by a number of access-layer platforms; 3750, 3850, 9200. Check the datasheet as some specific models do not support stackwise. Remember you cannot mix platforms via stackwise.
You also have the lower bandwidth flavour of flexstack-plus found on the 2960 platform.
Cheers,
Seb.

Thanks Seb Rubik for your reply.
Could you please clarify the difference between physical and virtual stackwise, and wich switch model supports each one of them?

All the models mentioned support physical stackwise with an external cable. The only models supporting stackwise-virtual is the Catalyst 9500 and 3850-XS ( > 16.3.3)
cheers,
Seb.
