Hi.
There are so many possibilities to do that.
Some - very expensive - tools, like NetworkNodeManager (HP); NetView (IBM) and so on.
Some - less expensive - Whats up Gold ( http://www.uksuperweb.co.uk/whatsup.html ); The Guard ( www.realtech.com ) and many more.
And some freeware tools like MRTG and JFFNMS. But these tools are performancetools, you can use them for displaying the network view too. But this issue is very tricky and not really god for the practice.
Myself, I'm using Cisco Works (as an Element Manager); NNM 7 is my Enterprise Manager.
Also, I have tested "The Guard" from RealTech (it's a little Developer from Germany) in our Lab and it looks very, very good!! This tool is very small, very fast and really easy to use. Even your secretary will be able to use this tool after 3 days :-)
Hope, this helps.
Regards
Markus
