Every day at 1:00am the Cisco works server stops recieving syslog data from my devices.

In the sysloganalyzer.log files it shows the following.

SyslogAnalyzer- Wed Dec 15 16:33:29 MST 2004 5 *sendSlgMessage,Unknown error sending msg to SAR: java.lang.OutOfMemoryError:

[This is where I restart the ciscoworks services at 4:33pm]

SyslogAnalyzer: LScCLient initialized

Version = 1.0Slgflname = d:/CSCOpx/log/syslog.logBindName = PHXAP25::SaReceiver

SAC ORB DONE!!!

SyslogAnalyzer- Thu Dec 16 01:00:33 MST 2004 5 Sql Exception occured *writeMsgsToFilejava.sql.SQLException: JZ006: Caught IOException: JZ0PA: The query has been cancelled and the response discarded. The cancel was probably issued by another statement on the connection.

[these messages repeat all day if allowed]

Anyone have any ideas how I can isolate this? I've looked for automated processes running at 1:00 but can't find anything that looks like the culprit.

This can occur if you would have enabled backup while purging the Syslog entires.

To disable the Purge Options

RME>Administration>Syslog Analysis>Storage Options-> Uncheck Backup Required checkbox
