I am trying to send syslog from my network devices to Solarwinds Log and Event Manager. I have a couple of ISR router and a couple of CAT devices.
when I do a "sh logging" it says logging is enabled.
when i send a test message "send log 2 testmessage here " i can see the test message in the history
The following is what I have in my configuration
on ISR router(s) and on CAT device(s)
service timestamps debug datetime msec
service timestamps debug log msec
logging trap debugging
logging facility local2
logging source-interface Loopback0
logging host 10.0.AA.BB
Is there anything wrong with the above config?
I also have SNMP traps syslog enabled and going to another product. I don't think that would interfere, but just putting it out there.
