syslog for asa

I am looking for a syslog utility for an asa 5505 that will include log file rotation.  So we don't have to be concerned about disk space with the logs.  I've seen this in the kiwi syslog server but it is a payed feature.  Is there a free syslog utility out there that will include this?  What other methods have been employed to control folder size for the logs?

The syslog files are just plain text and a lot of them can fit in relatively small amount of disk space.

I have one client for whom we do use the free Kiwi syslog tool. I just check the directory quarterly and remove any old log files greater than 6 months old.

You should also consider only logging at a level you need to for operational reasons and only capture more than that routinely if you are required to do so for compliance or legal reasons. I recommend level 4 for most day-to-day purposes.
