In LMS 2.6 I was able to replace the syslog file each month by doing a cut and paste to a different folder so I could keep 1 year worth of data by month. I know I need to stop some processes but I'm unable to now it keeps saying the file is in use. Can you tell me which processes I need to stop now to do this. Thanks

The CWCS syslog service must be stopped in addition to CiscoWorks Daemon Manager to release all locks on this file.
