The above is contained in a mail sent to me by CWLMS 3.2 but I do not quite understand what the statement I have underlined means.

Can anyone help me out? thanks in advance.

RME can't determine if changes occurred in the vlan.dat so it archives regardless. If you want to not get notification on the vlan.dat, you will need to filter it. Enable the filter for vlan configuration from RME --> Admin --> Change Audit --> Config Change Filter.

So if I get you right, it just simply means that the change occured either in the VLAN.dat or the RUNNING CONFIG?
