System ID LED Indicator - C6832-X-LE

Afternoon forum users,

I have a C6832-X-LE in VSS with the System ID LED Indicator flashing.  Now I would normally expect this to be a locator beacon for DC use, but in this instance I can't see the configuration needed to turn it on and off.

The documentation on this is pretty sparse:

Table 8 System ID LED Indicator

Color/State   --==--   Description

Blinking blue --==--   The system needs attention.

And it notes:

The System ID (blue beacon) LED can be provisioned by the operator to indicate that the switch needs attention. "

Which I haven't provisioned... So any ideas what causing it to flash? And can I do this at will (on and off)?

Ohhhhh ... This is a VSS?
So what happens if you go ... "hw-module switch 1 slot 1 led beacon"?

hw-module slot 1 led beacon

I'm afraid this isn't the solution for a 6840, at least not running 15.4 software.  My options are:

hostname(config)#hw-module ?
  fex      fex number
  module Individual module in the system
  subslot Control a component in a subslot
  switch   Switch number

And from what I can see, none of these sub-options have 'led' as a submenu.
