Tickets/Tasks you get as a Senior Systems Eng.?

Hello,

I have two questions, I would greatly appreciate if more than one member replies to this question, It can give me a broader view:

As a senior engineer who works in Implementation/Design of an Enterprise

1- List 10 or more tickets you get as a system engineer who deals with Switches, Routers, ASAs, Access Points, MPLS, BGP, VPN Site to site(L2L), AnyConnect....

2- List 10 tasks(other than troubleshoot) you get on a weekly basis..

Hi,

As said, this is off topic but I want to say that daily tickets, tasks depend on the project you handling, on your company, your manager and client as well.

There is no predefined task for any position in the industries.

you can't judge that it is related or not, It is a question and it is related to networking, and if you pay attention, you can see that I said I like to hear the answer from more than one member, it means I want to know the tickets or task you get from different contexts, It is so obvious that my question is not specific to a certain project or a particular place or organization.

And dear reader if you chose to help me with my question please put detail of your received(the same way you rcvd it) tasks and tickets, so I can extract and learn something from it, please do not put a one word answer.

Hi, 

Let me describe my last one month tasks or responsibility or projects which I got from my boss or clients as

1. Migrate Security Firewall (x vendor to y vendor) without changes in the existing network design and very less downtime. 

2. Disconnect Lease line and static IP from the on-premises Exchange server without compromise security, without delay and without sharing mails with the third party.  We must use Email scanning devices/software same which are configured with lease line. Design and test a solution.

3. Design WIFI network for VOIP  & data traffic for more than 2000 peoples means almost 6000 devices. 

4. Design and implement Cisco Expressway solution.

5. Find network design issues in an existing network with submitting a report to the client.

6. Monthly security test of your network and submit a report with your inputs.

7. Troubleshoot L2 loop issue. 

8. Troubleshoot duel stack network issue.

9. Discuss with a client and get all details, requirements, inputs and design a greenfield network, etc.
