Trying to upgrade to LMS 4.0.1

Hi

I have installed the LMS 4.0 and i am trying to apply the upgrade 4.0.1 . When the installation starts after a while suddenly the machine reboots .

The machine is Windows 2008 R2 64bit . I am trying to find any logs why it happens but nothing .

Any ideas ?

The windowns event logs for system and application should tell you what went wrong.

Is it at the same point in the installation where the box reboots? Anything in the install logs?

Also you can put the crmdmgtd service to manual, reboot, and then try the upgrade.

After the install put it back to automatic

As i can monitor it is at the same point , about 15% when the installation bar starts .

I tried also with crmdmgtd to manual instead of automatic .

Are you trying this as a local administrator?

Yes i run the setup as a local administrator

I upload the latest install log file . I didnt find something that could help why it crashes .

No, it all looks fine in the log

It actually gets towards the post-install part of the 4.01 installation.

No idea why this happens. If there is nothing else in the system and application logs then it is a mistery to me.

Only thing different with an installion in my lab is that I have all installation executable cwlms4_0_1_win_k9.exe already unpacked in c:\install.
