You can have the mgmt tool "rediscover" the QoS-enabled device to verify it's current in what it's polling.
You can also poll OIDs such as cbQosCMPrePolicyByte (.1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.166.1.15.1.1.5) or cbQosCMPrePolicyByte64 (.1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.166.1.15.1.1.6) directly with SNMP and examine the output for a sanity check:
