upgrade IOS to router via LMS (RME software mgmnt)

Dear Portal reader,

We use LMS 2.6 running on Solaris9

During the upgrade of  IOS to some routers via RME software management, we noticed that the router first starts to download the running IOS to LMS before the upgrade IOS is uploaded to the router, although this option is not selected!

Can someone explain this behaviour ? (This behaviour is time consuming.)

Is it necessary for LMS to first have a version of the IOS in its repository before starting the upload ?

After creating a SWIM job, a directory will be created under NMSROOT/files/rme/jobs/swim which matches the job ID.  Post that directory.

Hi

As soon as we redo the job (probably somewhere mid augustus) I will come back to this portal to post the job directory.

The curent Job id is lossed and we have to wait for a new change window.
