User defined group

When creating a job report from a  User defined group ex 1000 devices. When then making a new device discovery and  its finding ex 2 devices and adding it to the user  defined Group.
Do the  scheduled job report understand 2 more devices are found or do i need to re  create the job resport so the 2 new devices will be  added?

I beleive it takes a list of device_ID's on the moment you schedule the job.

These are device_ID's are the internal number of the device in the DCR.

I noticed once while running a job that it also tried removed devices and crashed because the job couldn't find the devices matching the device_ID.

So in your case your job should start when the discovery is done. Not before.

I didnt understand really.

If i create a scheduled job before the device discovery will the scheduled job understand if the discovery finds new devices even if will start after the discovery is done

If the user defined group is of the type "dynamic" then yes if it is "static" then no

They are all dynamic groups.
