User Tracking not updating immediately

Why doesn’t User Tracking update the database with the user names immediately after the user logs in? It seams that it only updates the user names when it does the major acquisition. Is this how it is supposed to work or is there something I need to tweak to get it reporting immediately?

I think the User tracking database updates the database in two phases. one is the minor acquisition phase and the other is the major acquisition phase. Check what is the time parameter set for the minor acquisition phase. I guess it is too long. Thats could be the reason it is taking a longer time for the User tracking database to update the entries.
