Vstack disable not possible?

Hello, I have a switch: WS-C2960CG-8TC-L 12.2(55)EX2

It is not possible to enter the command 'no vstack'.

Does this mean I need to upgrade the firmware to be able to disable vstack ?

mySwitch(config)#no vstack director
mySwitch(config)#do sh run | i vstack
mySwitch(config)#do sh vstack config
Role: Client
Vstack Director IP address: 0.0.0.0

Can you verify the IOS version as VStack is supported from 12.2(55)SE. 

Also can you show the output for show running-config all | i vstack

Hello, the firmware is 12.2(55)EX2.

Here is the output which was simply null:

mySwitch#sh running-config all | i vstack
mySwitch#

There you go, as @Leo Laohoo  noted upgrade and you should be fine.

The reason why "no vstack" doesn't work because it's not supported at that level of IOS.
Upgrade the IOS to something more recent and the command to disable SmartInstall ("no vstack") will be supported.
