i have one ASR920 o router which is get stuckes into ROMMON mode. if i tried to boot this device from external drive below error came. plz suggest.

If you have USB copy the IOS image to USB and boot from USB.

>dir usb0:

>boot usb0:asr920xxxxxxxxxxx.bin

Once it boot copy the image to bootflash and changes the boot variable.
