We have 2 SAN switches with copper interfaces. Also, they will be connecting 10 - 12 servers . These SAN switches have 10 GigE ports.Kindly advice what switch should i use to connect my SAN switches with the network. At our core layer we have 4500 series switches.

What's the budget?
How are the SAN connected? Fibre optic? Copper? CX4?

1. SAN link(s) running on copper ... suspicious.
2. Budget "not an issue" but selection has to be "cost effective". Hmmmm ... self-contradicting statement.
I'm not responding to this thread as I question the purpose of the response and result.
