Will adding an NTP server to a config cause issues with device?

I am in the process of pointing various production devices (switches and routers) to a NTP server. The devices have not been using NTP since they were put into our environment (years ago). Will adding a NTP server to the devices disrupt traffic or any other device issues? These devices get a lot of traffic.

Thanks!

Adding NTP not cause any issue as per personally in the network device. it is good to have NTP config, so you have acuurate information related to Logs and other monitor task in the network to co-relate.
