CW LMS RME can't manage the archive for a NAM2.I get the error message below. I double checked the username and password, and succeeds while telenting manually. A sniffer capture shows that CW is able to connect to the NAM (the prompt is there), nonetheless it fails.
I get this message in dcma.log :[ Sat Mar 27 03:26:25 CET 2010 ],DEBUG,[Thread-1142],com.cisco.nm.xms.xdi.transport.cmdsvc.LogAdapter,printStackTrace,51,stacktracecom.cisco.nm.lib.cmdsvc.CmdSvcException: Prompt learning failed: 'email@example.com# firstname.lastname@example.org# email@example.com# ' && 'firstname.lastname@example.org# email@example.com# ' do not match.
Any idea ?

The problem you are seeing (CSCsy73881) does not have a fix in RME 4.0.6. It is fixed in RME 4.3 with the availability of a new cmdsvc.properties file which allows you to adjust some of the internal timers. And, since RME 4.0.6 is currently end of engineering, I do not see a patch coming out for your version. If you were to upgrade, you would need to edit cmdsvc.properties, and set:
Thanks for your quick reply. Unfortunately, the content of Bug CSCsy73881 is only available to Cisco employees.
I guess I have to buy LMS 3.2 in order to get RME 4.3 right ?
