Hi
I am trying to create an access rule to allow a group of users access to a list of URLs. I read up at http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/security/firesight-management-center/118852-technote-firesight-00.html about not using * wildcards, however if I enter cisco.com for example as it says on the webpage, it matches sanfrancisco.com too.
Also,
http://bat.bing.com/action/0?ti=4036788&Ver=2&mid=5184fa9e-3ec1-0a24-feae-f83dad5f7912&evt=pageLoad<=1142&pi=576086242&lg=en-GB&sw=1920&sh=1080&sc=24&r=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.cisco.com%2Fc%2Fen%2Fus%2Fsupport%2Findex.html&tl=How%20To%20Buy%20-%20Cisco&p=...
is matched by cisco.com too.
Is there a way round this or to just match the URI?
Thanks
Richard

Hi Richard,
Did you check it with adding http://www.cisco.com ?
I tried the same on my lab device and it shows sanfrancisco.com not taking the same rule as cisco.com if the above url object is used.
Rate if it helps.
Thanks,
Ankita
