Experts,
I have configured ASA 5505 -x firewall on a transparent mood  with  BDV interface.  I  assign port 1-2 for same bridge group. But when i connect to firewall in to two devices. firewall's  port  lights indicate green  color but they are blinking fast.

02.What is meaning of  Letters that are marked  as "L" and "S" on the back all 8 ports ?

Thank you

you Title say you using 5506 but your question is for 5505. if you are using 5505 its gone end of life. 5505 does support layer2 functionality mean it has a build in switch compare to 5506 firewall.

if you are using 5506-X this is also gone end of life. its replacement/successor  is FTD1010

now to answer your question.

Looking at the rear of the ASA 5506-X and ASA 5506W-X, where the ports are located, port 1 is on the left, and port 8 is on the right, next to the console and management ports. Each port is accompanied by a pair of LEDs, one each for link status (L) and connection status (S) here
