Split Brian issue I think

Can I see

Show failover

I need to see the monitoring status of interface.

I have seem similar issues with ASA5585 with SFP module.  The issue in the cases I have seen is due to the SFP module reporting issues causing the ASA to failover.  Not saying this is your issue, but it might be worth looking into to be sure the integrated module in ASA5516 is not the cause of the issue.
