I have new ASA 5520 from the box and i have configured already int g0/1 with ip 10.15.14.5 255.255.255.0 nameif inside kindly see details below the config
CiscoAsa# sh run http
http server enable
http 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 management
http 192.168.1.0 255.255.255.0 management
http 192.168.1.2 255.255.255.255 management
CiscoAsa# sh run asdm
asdm image disk0:/asdm-621.bin
no asdm history enable
management-access management
still i cant browse the ASDM page https://192.168.1.1/admin but i am able to ping the IP Address of my ASA5520
having same issue i did all which was posted here....

correction to my previous post i configured the management port 192.168.1.1 255.255.255.0 nameif management

Hi Jason,
Probably you will need to setup the authentication:
aaa authentication http console LOCAL
Please check if output of show asdm image referrs to the correct image.
If that doesn't help, enable logging throught console and try connecting again.

thank you for your response Mr. Paul but i have tried enabling the aaa authentication http console local and also created username and password but still not showing anything from my browser....https://92.168.1.1/admin

Mr. Paul i have read some articles and im not sure of this......
When you use a 64-bit Java version on Windows, it causes the ASDM Launcher to fail and the launcher does not run.
This issue is documented in Cisco bug ID CSCtb86774 (registered customers only) .
The workaround is to run the ASDM using the web browser.
