Hello,
I am asked to configure a cisco ASA 5520 in routed mode. Can somebody shed some light on wat is the difference between configuring a asa in routed and transparent mode? Also a sample configuration for routed mode will be of great help.Below is setup for which i have to create the rules.
Local office nw-------internal core sitch-----------(DMZ servers)----switch --------- Router ------------------------------Router-----switch--------Workstations in remote location .
Here is the scenerio,
1) workstations in the remote location will have complete access to the DMZ servers.
2) Access to LAN of the local man branch is limited to stuffs like windows login server, webmail etc etc.
Also if i have to enable the work station get IP from central DHCP server, what are the ports that has to opened for traffic.?
Waiting for your valuable replies!
Regards
Raja
