ASA 9.2 Printing from VLAN to VLAN

I have a HP printer on my Office VLAN ( 192.168.160.190) that I would like to create a virtual IP on my House VLAN at 192.168.150.190, to allow printing from the less secure House network to Office network.  I need assistance with setting up the network object and associated access rule to allow printing to the Office printer.

Office 192.168.160.0/24 , Security Level 100
House 192.168.150.0/24, Security Level 90

HP Printer on Office VLAN at 192.168.160.190

Ideal House IP to map the printer to 192.168.150.190

Thank you.

Hi,

You need an access-list to allow the home network to print to the printer on the office network.

Alternatively, you can put the printer on the home network and give it ip address 192.168.150.190. Office users will be able to print because traffic from high security interface to low security interface is allowed.

Thanks

John

This is partially an exercise as well, so I wish to keep the printer on
the Office side, plus it simplifies things like AirPrint etc. that I can
initiate from my Office Wifi.

That said a little more nudge in the right direction for the virtual IP
setup etc, would be appreciated.

Thanks.
