Hi everyone,

Need to verify that if port channel is configured on ASA as shown below

interface GigabitEthernet0/2
 channel-group 1 mode active
 no nameif
 no security-level
 no ip address
!
interface GigabitEthernet0/3
 channel-group 1 mode active
 no nameif
 no security-level
 no ip address

interface Port-channel1
 nameif outside
 security-level 0
 ip address 10.235.1.5 255.255.255.252

As switches have layer 2 and layer 3 etherchannel need to confirm if above etherchannel is layer 3?

Also connection from Firewall to switch is access port or trunk?

Regards

Mahesh

The port-channel 1 is layer-3 On the switch, under the interface port-channel, give no switchport command and give the ip address. With this config, it's neither an access or trunk
