Please let me know how to configure a firewall port where a network switch port that has a VLAN configuration (trunk mode) is connected.

Thank you in advance!

Hi MHM,

Thank you for your reply! Actually, there are four network switches. Two switches are in the inside network, and two switches are in the outside network. Two switches in the outside network have vlan 10, 20, and 30. One of two switches in the inside network has vlan 10, 20, and 30, and the other has vlan 10 and 20. How can I configure the ASA firewall to transport the traffic between switches in the inside and outside networks.

Regards,

Sangyeon

sorry
are you want ASA to run transparent mode not route mode?

MHM

Hi MHM,

I will run transparent mode in the firewall.

Sangyeon

Depends on the configuration you looking to do ?

are you looking more Interface using same interface connected to Trunk

then you need to create a sub interface in respected to the VLAN you tagging on the switch side.
