Good morning,
I'm trying to dissect the ASA running config - to understand what we have running line per line, is there any documentation that details what each line is for like the DMZ, inside, outside and what's required to configure the ASA, what we can remove or strip off the running config, make more secure.
Thank you

Hi,
The best listing of commands and their purpose can be found in the ASA Command Refence.
Either look it from the Cisco site or just Google "Cisco ASA 8.2 command reference" AND replace the 8.2 with the correct software you are using.
You can also Google for "Cisco ASA 8.2 configuration guide" for the actual guide for configuring different aspects of the ASA
