ASA with Firepower services

Hi Everyone,

I have ASA with firepower services, currently i have not configured the sfr module. 

when i  do 'show module sfr' it shows up, data plane status is also up. 

Does this mean the IDS/IPS is up as well ?

Hi,

The module is up but because you have not configured it,  it is not processing any traffic. You will need to configure the module and configure the ASA to send traffic to the module for processing.

Thats correct the modules are ready to use, you need to configure modules, what feature and rule you like to use.
