Does anyone know that whether ASA5510 support more than 2,000 OSPF routes?

I think this is one of those questions where the answer is "it depends". On what? On memory. An dmoemry depends on? Configuration, throughput, etc, etc.

Absolutely agree.

ASAs are not as good as routers using dynamic routing updates, or at least that's what my router guy tells me.

You have to try it out to discover if it will "work."
