Backup from vFMC to Hardware Appliance

Hi All,

  Can i download the configuration backup of virtual FMC and upload the same backup in hardware FMC? Does it work? Any suggestions i appreciate in advance.

yes it works as long as the same version of code (or above version with compatibility)

what is the software version you running on your vFMC and what model is the Hardware FMC? You also need to be ware that both software must be same and also they must have the patch and vulnerability database. every thing need to be match in order to migrate the backup from vFMC to H-FMC.

I had done a similar migration but in my case it was from hardware FMC to vFMC.

you can still follow this process only difference between mine and your deployment is you going from vFMC to Hardware as compare to mine was H-FMC to vFMC.
