Changing IP of remote device connected to FMC?

Basically if you change the object IP (device IP changed, and worked or was managed fine in FMC) for a remote FTDv device managed in the FMC and it will no longer properly connect or register, confirmed there is 2-way traffic (up to applciation data exchange), what else could be the problem or what else should I look at?

If the ports are opened (as per the FTD and FMC communication) and NAT OK that should work.

Note: if the FTD IP changes, you need to de-register and re-register. is the FTD behind NAT?

Hi, yes it is. So I changed IP of the object, and object was used in all NA, ACL statements, etc. It actually started working but took like 20 minutes or so for some reason. Yes re-registered. Do you have any idea why that may have been the case?
