Hi, this might be a quick and easy answer for someone. Is it possible to upgrade individual firewall contexts within a 2130 virtual firewall and have them on different firmware? (running ASA). Or will they all get upgraded at once?
Thanks.

@m.s.rees1 the 2100 series does not support multi-instance, only multi-context if running ASA.

There is different between Multi-Context and Multi Instance.
Multi-Context ASA Term, you should have same OS all over.
Multi-Instance - FTD chasis (look at the model), you can run any OS Like combination of ASA different versions, and FTD different version.

Right so on the 2100 series data sheet it says the following:
2100 Series platforms run either the Cisco Secure Firewall ASA or Threat Defense (FMC) software.
I'm guessing in our case then, it is multi-context and not multi-instance as it can only run one or the other?
