CISCO ASA 5505 IDS problem

Hello,

I needed to configure my firewall like a IDS to create a log of activity inside the firewall monthly , how I do that?

When I select types of attacks, an error appears saying: No IDS policy is applied to any interface.

How to apply a IDS policy to the interface?

YOu can choose to apply your IPS either in Promiscious

or In-Line mode

Hello,

IP Audit needs to be configured before any information will appear under the Logging section.  IP Audit is configured under Configuration>Firewall>Advanced>IP Audit within ASDM.  Here is the configuration guide for IP Audit:
