Cisco FPR-1120 (ASA Image) licensing with Cisco CSLU

Hi all,

we have installed a Cisco CSLU in our network because the direct connection of all network components to the CSSM is not feasible. Some switches are already successfully registered via the CSLU. Now we have found that there is no way to configure licensing via the CSLU in the ASA/Firepower. Not even in newer versions than ours (9.16(3)23)

Does anyone have experience with this? Will the possibility with CSLU still be integrated?

I have only seen CSLU for Cat 9K switches, not that i am aware anything for ASA - we use CSSM onprem or smart license cloud.

only option we see here : (may be worth to reach TAC - they can offer you any other method)

Note : smart License need only internet, so i setup a Local proxy so ASA can use that proxy to register License over internet - just an tip .
