Cisco PIX and OSPF

I have a cisco pix v6.3x

I am running ospf on the inside area - this works fine and if I add connected interfaces to the networks list it works fine.

What I am trying to achieve is to advertise static routes from this PIx into the ospf process but I cannot get this to work ? Is it possible ?

I have added the command redidtribute static but whatever I do either in networks under ospf or with my ststic routes ( i.e - making them classful ) it still does not advertise

any ideas out there?

This may or may not be relivent to your problem, but I was told by TAC that the pix code has bugs right now with OSPF and they are to be fixed with new code in April/May release.
