I have two asa5520 and two contexts. I am going to configure as.
- multiple mode
- trunk on int G0/1 for two internal
g0/1.1 context1
g0/1.2 context2
- I should trunk on int g 0/0 for two external.
g0/0.1 for context1
g0/0.2 for context2
Can I use same subnet for external interface? That means:
- external: no trunk
interface g 0/0
nameif outside
ip address 10.1.1.1 255.255.255.0 standby 10.1.1.2
If so, how to configure, Please advice.
Any comments will be appreciated
Thanks in advance

Hi .. I believe you can, but you need to be aware that packets passed by the physical interface are not tagged and so you need to make sure the switch port is configured with a native VLAN ID which will correspond to whichever VLAN you are using as your external range.
I hope it helps .. please rate it if it does !!!
