Configuration of PDM in Cisco Pix

We bought a cisco pix firewall 515 with ios 6.2(2) with pdm version 2.1 running. I have configured this firewall and put it in our production network. I need to configure pdm so that i could browse through the I.E. Can some one advice me what and how should i configure in the Pix firewall so that i could use the pdm. Should i need to install any additional software in the system that i am trying to browse pdm?

You should verify first if your Cisco PIX firewall has encryption enabled on it.

Issue the command in the console "show version" and look for DES/3DES encryption if it is enabled. If it is not enabled you can order a free DES encryption activation key from cisco.com

I suggest you connect a console to the Cisco PIX firewall and follow the initial setup screen in entering configuration information to your firewall.

You do not have to install additional software in your workstation.

Just when you entered the initial configuration on your firewall and DES/3DES is enabled, enter https:// in your Internet Explorer then configure the PIX firewall from the PDM.
