Configuring netmask w/ip local pool command with PIX 6.3

I am having an issue getting my PPTP clients to communicate once they establish a tunnel. The command refrence shows the syntax ip local pool pool_name pool_start_address[-pool_end_address] [mask mask] however, the pix shows the syntax ip local pool <poolname> <ip1>[-<ip2>]. Once the clients connect they are taking an address from the pool and a 255.255.255.255 netmask resulting in being their own default gateway. Any suggests on how o get around this issue would be appreciated.

This feature was introduced in PIX OS 6.3(4)

"New Ability to Assign Netmasks with Address Pools"

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/secursw/ps2120/prod_release_note09186a0080267ccd.html#wp137259

I don't think there are any known issues upgrading from 6.3.x to 6.3.4

HTH,

Mustafa

Thank you very much, I will look into upgrading from 6.3(3)
