Define IP local policy per VRF

Is there a way to define ip local policy per VRF on Cisco routers? (i.e, I want to deny router generated traffic on a specific VRF, "ip local policy" only matches on the global traffic)

are you talking about policy based routing in conjunction with VRF's?

I am not sure if policy based routing can be applied on the traffic generated by the router itself. 

My situation is like the following: I want to deny some kind of traffic generated by the router. This is usually solved by implementing a local policy but as this is a VRF, traffic is not being matched in it.
