Disk Space for FMC Upgrade

Does anyone know why I can't find /var under the /Volume (per the following snapshot and under the release note here: https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/security/firepower/70/relnotes/firepower-release-notes-700/upgrade.html#Cisco_Concept.dita_85620d49-c099-48f5-a552-0b8117e6242c

We're trying to upgrade our FMC from version 6.x to version 7.0.4 but according to the release note, at least 18GB is required under the /var directory and per Table 21 of the URL, it seems to indicate that /var is under the /Volume directory.  But this under doesn't when we looked at it on the FMC (we ssh to it the /var has than than 2GB disk space left and also checked the GUI's partition and the partition under the Systems page also shows /volume directory and the /var) so we're a little concerned about upgrading due to lack of disk space.

thanks in advance

i would visit and see /var/log you can clean up or offload some logs ?

Another option build a new FMC and restore the config there.

During the upgrade process for 7.x and later, it is mandatory to run the "Check Readiness" step first. That will validate your system health as well as hardware prerequisites (disk, memory etc.) prior to giving you the option to proceed with the actual upgrade.
