Does ASA 5555-x require SSDs for FTD image

I have ASA 5555-X with more that 4GB of storage so more than the storage requirement of 3GB. However when I checked the inventory I see no SSDs. Just Storage device 1 and storage device 2 entries. Reading the documentation sounded like I will need SSDs in order to proceed booting my ASA with the FTD image 6.4.0.7. Please advise if this is correct.

Got my answer. Yes it does.

Note

For the FTD on the ASA 5512-X through 5555-X, you must install a Cisco solid state drive (SSD). For more information, see the ASA 5500-X hardware guide. For the ASA, the SSD is also required to use the ASA FirePOWER module. (The SSD is standard on the ASA 5506-X, 5508-X, and 5516-X.)
