The Cavium Octeon is a processor chip inside the ASA 5506.
Failure to detect it during boot up indicates a hardware problem. You would need to contact TAC for a new unit if it's covered under a support contract. If it isn't covered, you may have to replace it yourself.

Hello Marvin,
I'm having the same error but I do not have warranty.
Does buying a Smartnet help or do you mean that I need to buy a new unit all together?
